Issues

  • Absence of physical secretariat

- Not registered

- No trained staff, just volunteers

- No funding for projects

Suggestions from the other networks

  • Have more solid links with other existing networks. This can help with attarcting funds to the project
  • Have key areas where you are strong enough so donors could be found. For physical visibility, you can also be hosted by other organisations
  • Put your case to ECA to see how far the issue of physical location (secretariat) can be ironed out
  • Have somebody who is not an AYIN member talk about institutionalising AYIN with you. The dream can come through
